CROSS DRESSING COMMERCE WITH CULTURE; will our community ever be the same?

March 26th + 27th, 2005

Vancouver based BARK Design Collective hosted a presentation at DV- Interior Design and Urban Living Expo and discussed the importance of encouraging commerce and culture to wear each others clothes. When this happens, the symbiotic relationship between these two polarities generates what BARK has coined CULTURAL CURRENCY.
While other countries have thriving economies and a strong sense of their cultural identity, Canadians have preferred to remain conservative to their choice of dressing partners and haven't realized their full potential. BARK invited everyone to come and join in to the entertaining and informative dialogue, which explored how the business of Canada's creative industries can be a valuable asset to Canada.
